We believe that the journey of our millets — from the farms of the Vindhya region to your doorstep — should be as smooth as possible. Our shipping process is designed to be fast, transparent, and reliable for all retail and wholesale orders across India.

2. Order Processing Time

Orders placed on Vindhya Millets are processed within the following timelines:

• Standard Orders: Processed and ready to ship within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
• Bulk/Wholesale Orders: Processing time of 2–4 business days depending on quantity and packaging requirements.
• Custom/Gifting Orders: May require 3–5 business days for preparation.

Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed the next business day. You will receive a dispatch confirmation via email or WhatsApp once your order ships.

3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and displayed before final payment confirmation.

4. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines vary by location:

• Uttar Pradesh (Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Lucknow, Kanpur): 2–4 business days
• Other North Indian States (Delhi, Rajasthan, MP, Bihar, Jharkhand): 3–5 business days
• Metro Cities (Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata): 4–6 business days
• Remote/Rural Areas & Northeast States: 5–10 business days

These are estimated timelines. Actual delivery may vary due to logistics conditions, weather, or public holidays.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

• A tracking number and courier partner details via email/WhatsApp
• A link to track your shipment on the courier's website

6. Serviceable Areas

We currently deliver to all PIN codes across India, subject to logistics partner coverage. Some remote areas may not be serviceable or may have extended delivery timelines. If we're unable to deliver to your PIN code, we'll notify you immediately with a full refund.

We are actively expanding our delivery network, especially in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and rural India where millet demand is growing.

7. Bulk & Wholesale Order Shipping

For bulk orders of millets (ragi, bajra, jowar in larger quantities for businesses, distributors, or hotels), we offer:

• Custom freight arrangements based on weight and destination
• Dedicated shipping coordinator for large orders
• Transport to warehouses, direct store deliveries, or distribution centers
• Special rate negotiations for recurring bulk orders

8. Our Eco-Friendly Packaging

In line with our commitment to sustainability, Vindhya Millets uses:

• Food-grade, airtight packaging to preserve freshness without artificial preservatives
• Minimal plastic — we are actively moving to eco-friendly, biodegradable packaging
• Recyclable outer cartons for all shipped orders
• Bubble wrap and padding materials only for fragile items

9. Delivery Issues

9.1 Missed Delivery

If the courier attempts delivery and no one is available, they will typically attempt re-delivery. After 2–3 failed attempts, the shipment may be returned to our facility. In such cases, re-shipping charges may apply.

9.2 Wrong Address

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate at the time of ordering. We are not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect address information provided by the customer.

9.3 Delayed Deliveries

If your order is significantly delayed beyond our estimated timelines, please contact us and we will investigate with our logistics partner and keep you updated.
